GROUNDING VISION
In September 2021, these eight issue briefs were developed to inform the Multisector Blueprint for Aging and other age-friendly work across the state.
STARTING A COLLECTIVE APPROACH
In December 2021, hundreds of Minnesotans gathered for the MN Leadership Council on Aging annual Summit. Grounded in a detailed scan of emerging issues developed by Olivia Mastry at the Collective Action Lab and using a process designed by Richard Lum of Vision Foresight Strategy, leaders from across the state engaged in conversations designed to look back and understand the last 50 years of major milestones in aging, to explore together where Minnesota sits today, and to identify common priorities for potential futures that could be forged by working through a bold, multi-sector approach to planning.

COMMUNITY-DRIVEN DESIGN
From initial input gained at the AGEnda Summit and insights from Minnesotans participating in a national cohort of states advancing multisector work, the four domains of Minnesota's Blueprint started to take shape. Next, a major undertaking of statewide community engagement efforts that included tribal engagement and surveys to a series of seven free Regional Exchanges on September 29, 2023 and a virtual statewide conference produced detailed regional feedback.
